Chickens!

We recently acquired some laying hens, built a hen-house connected to the goat yard. We’re happy to finally have fresh home-raised eggs! Dee-lish!

The chickens and goats seem pretty happy together… They share the outdoor area, but have separate houses. A door between the goat yard and chicken coop keeps the goats out of the hen-house.

    Emily! I’m so jealous! Tee hee – these pictures look great. It’s so cool that you guys can keep the chickens and goats back there. I can not wait to have a house! Mmmmmm goat cheese…..

    NOT TRUE!!! The sliding coop door is not goat proof!!! I am an eye witness!
